The Harvia's round sauna stones made of olivine diabase are inspired by naturally rounded stones found in rapids and mountain streams. Their shape allows the water poured on the stones to easily penetrate to the deeper layers. There, it evaporates evenly over a larger surface area, resulting in a particularly gentle, soft, and pleasant steam.

These stones are ideal for the top layer of the sauna heater and are compatible with all common sauna heaters. Especially in heaters with a smaller stone capacity, this creates a calm, balanced steam infusion without harsh bursts.

For optimal results, Harvia recommends using more angular stones in the lower layers. These offer a larger heating surface and ensure efficient heat retention. In combination with the round stones, this creates a harmonious interplay of gentle steam and effective heat generation.
