These diabase sauna stones are among the most tried and tested and widely used stones in the sauna world. This subvolcanic rock is quarried in western Finland and is characterized by its fine-grained, durable structure. Thanks to their high density, the stones store heat particularly efficiently and release it evenly, ensuring a constant temperature and invigorating steam.
EOS Diabase sauna stones undergo continuous testing to ensure consistent quality and safety. Each batch is inspected and practically tested before leaving the factory.

The stones are available in various grain sizes to suit any oven size and application:
• 30 to 60 mm, ideal for small sauna stoves
• 50 to 100 mm, standard size for medium to large models
• 100 to 150 mm, suitable for high-performance sauna heaters
The surface of the stones is medium grey to grey-green, a natural color that blends harmoniously into the sauna ambience.
